I've recently made a switch to clipstudiopaint and while there are a lot of things I love compared to Photoshop one think that it's bothering me it's the lack of the pen tool and the much more limited selection options clipstudio has. I mailed their support, and hopefully they won't just say, "oh it's easy, just go to that web page you went to a million times and couldn't figure out.Hi i'm a begginer artist and I was drawing some fanart stuff for the last couple of weeks. How can a company be so bad at doing the one thing companies exist to do, get you to give them money? It's like they designed it to discourage people from giving them money. This is the most complicated system I have ever seen any company use to charge for their software. maybe multi-device is only for mobile devices.?
Somewhere, on one of the screens, I saw mention of a dual device plan, and even a 4 device plan, but the pricing is really different from what I saw when I upgraded my laptop. I feel like I've clicked through a million pages, and opened and reopened the app on my phone and my desktop and laptop. I'm way, way over simplifying just so this post doesn't go crazy long. But, when I open Clip Studio on my phone, there's NOWHERE to upgrade the plan. I got taken to a page that said I have to update by scanning a QR code and paying through Google Play on my Android. I tried upgrading through Clip Studio, I tried upgrading on the website. Mildly annoying, but, life is about change, so fine, I'll get a license for my desktop too.Īnd that's when things go horribly wrong. Later, I went to open Clip Studio on my desktop where I found out that you can no longer run Clip Studio on more than one device. It went okay, I paid with my credit card and it was fine. I upgraded to the premium pass on my laptop. I used to be able to use version 1 on both with the same license.
